Q: Is one backpack enough for two people’s supplies?

A: Yes. This kit is strategically packed in a high-capacity nylon backpack to keep all 72-hour essentials in a single "grab-and-go" unit. This allows one person to carry the primary supplies while the other remains free to assist children, pets, or carry additional personal items.

Q: Do we have to share a sleeping bag?

A: No. While the Tube Tent is a shared shelter for two, the kit includes two individual Mylar emergency sleeping bags. This ensures that each person can maintain their own body heat and personal space while resting.

Q: How long will the 7,200 calories last?

A: The kit contains two 3,600 kcal ration packs. This provides 1,200 calories per person, per day for 72 hours. These rations are nutrient-dense and formulated to provide energy without making you thirsty, which is critical when water may be limited.

Q: Is the 10L water container heavy when full?

A: When full, the container weighs approximately 22 lbs (10 kg). Because it is collapsible, you only fill it once you reach a water source. We have included 20 Aquatabs® so you can purify a full 10L tank multiple times if needed.

Q: Why are there two whistles and two light sticks?

A: Redundancy is key in emergency planning. Having two whistles and two light sticks allows both individuals to signal for help or navigate in the dark independently if they happen to become separated.
