A: The radio features a built-in internal battery that can be charged using the integrated hand crank. It provides access to AM/FM frequencies for emergency broadcasts and includes a built-in LED flashlight. This ensures you are never reliant on disposable batteries or a power grid.

Q: Why is there a 10L water tank if the kit only has 20 purification tablets?

A: Each Aquatabs® tablet treats up to 2 liters of water (depending on water quality). With 20 tablets, you have the capacity to purify up to 40 liters of water. The 10L tank allows you to collect and treat a large batch at once, providing enough hydration for much longer than the initial 72-hour period if necessary.

Q: Is the backpack actually waterproof?

A: The backpack is made of high-quality water-resistant nylon and specifically features a reinforced waterproof bottom. This allows you to set the bag down on wet grass, snow, or damp pavement without moisture seeping through to your dry clothes, food, or electronics.

Q: What should I use the "Tube Tent" for?

A: The tube tent is an ultra-lightweight shelter designed for rapid deployment. It can be strung between two trees or heavy objects to create a windproof and waterproof "A-frame" shelter, providing far better protection from rain and wind than a simple emergency blanket.
